Pliny the Elder. Russian River Brewing. Simply put it lived up to the hype. While I was surprised it did not have the enamel pealing bitterness I expected, it turned out to be even better while being stuffed with hop flavor and aroma. I rarely buy the IPA or IIPA anymore since they tend to taste all the same after awhile, very few stand out, but this one was a step above. Well done.
